Water Harvesting became an integral part of Reira Eco Ventures activities when we faced the problems of water stress during the summer months in the fields.
Goa receives an average of 3 mtrs of rainfall, yet the state faces waster shortages.
The answer lies in water harvesting and helping to recharge the natural aquifers in the ground.
REV successfully set up its first water harvesting project at Saligao a few years ago which today yields 2.8 million litres (2800 cubic meters or 560 truck tankers) of water in four months.
